This starts already in progress, the Doctor and Jo on their way to see the demonstration of the gas. Things build up as we meet the mega - an all powerful force, the Doctor seemly switching sides and whisked away overseas by Prince Cassie, not to mention the death of the prime minster! The narrative is split between The Doctor and Jo, the prince and mega on one side and the Brig and co on the other. Its an epic story, with some great ideas. The mega themselves: though they are the enemy, here they are kind of in the background. Its narrated by both Katy and Richard. Richard’s voices for the Brig and Benton are not particularly close and took me a little time to realise who the characters were. It has a certain feeling of sadness? somberness? to it, its not the right word but I’m struggling to define it. Just kind of downbeat. My hearing isn’t the best but I found it hard to make out what was being said a number of times. The voices just too quiet and the background noise/music too loud. 30-35 minute episodes and 6 of them som its quite long. It seemes well thought of by some, but I just didn’t care much for it.
