I think this was essentially a trailer to promote The Time Lord Victorious series.

A war battered Daleks floats in space and warns us of the Doctor…

That’s it really.

It is nicely done and it looks as if it could be from a TV episode. But at 30 second long (nearly a minute if you include the subscribe to our channel bit) its kind of a blink and you miss it type of thing.

In trying to see where the various elements fit I wasn’t sure where this goes. I gather the Dalek is the one from the escape rooms.

There is more to this brief film than first appears. It kind of feels a bit inconsequential, but when you go through alot of the other elements of the TLV, you actually start to appreicate the bigger picture. I did find it quite rewarding, when I found out how it all impacts on other events.

The Last Message is literally a one-minute video of a lonely Dalek floating in space and telling us it has to warn the universe about the Doctor. That's it. Not much of a story and not much of a trailer.

I was expecting more than just a trailer.

This animation was made to tease Time Lord Victorious.

It's extremely simple.

It is just a Dalek floating in space who says a few words.

It does what it needs to, but it's really not much.

I’m sooo excited to delve into this era, my first full arc outside of the main show!!!
