I’m not sure every fragment of the show’s history needs to be examined with this level of minuscule detail. The story of the policeman in the opening titles of An Unearthly Child is a pedestrian one for me. It wants to be very literary and thoughtful, but is ends up being dull in my opinion.

This story is just a perfectly sad story and I loved every minute of
