You can't say the Winter stories have no variety, as this one gives a very different tale than Gods of Winter. The first half of the story does drag a bit, but it really picks up near the end as we learn the truth about our good friend Harrison Winter. Supposedly there is a revolution threatening to overthrow him, and they've locked themselves in. Nothing could be further from the truth, and we get some good kafkaesque body horror in this one. I also enjoyed the Doctor complaining about cellphones and it's Clara's that save the day. I'm a bit confused on the timeline though as this might take place for the Winters before the previous story? We'll see!
