A slightly confusing opening to Time Lord Victorious, that's very heavy on description (unsure how I feel about that), but it succeeds in leaving you intrigued for the rest of the event!

James Goss starting us off is always a good sign, and this story, while short, is a great start to the event.

The imagery and intrigue pull you right in and definitely make you want to see more, and for how short the story is and how alien everyone is, the characterisation is still really good.

📝8/10 = VERY ENJOYABLE!

Time Lording through time and space, one victory at a time! This time: it's the beginning!

James Goss opens the Time Lord Victorious event with this short story, giving us a taste of the Dark Times and the death-bringing Kotturuh. It's a brief tale, but effectively sets up the main idea of an alien species travelling to every planet, assessing the value of the life forms on each planet and adjusting their lifespans accordingly.
