The First Doctor annual stories are so long for whatever reason. Really feels like the Ethereals should thought of normative determinism. Not a lot of depth, definitely feels like the Doctor was too hasty to help them.

Really struggled with this annual story

Typical fare for First Doctor annuals, but I actually quite liked this one. It's helped a lot by some pretty great sound design for the recent audiobook. I like the Doctor's ring being used like a pseudo-sonic screwdriver.
