Simply one of the most brilliant finales I can remember. It is told in a totally unexpected way around a woman named Janet who is just used to running her nothing human interest tv show. Torchwood save the world the only way they know how: by encouraging and stoking the worst fears of humanity and leveraging that to defeating Friend. I've been thinking about this story ever since.
