DOOM’S DAY: HOUR 2 (Four Hours of Doom's Day: Story One)

DWM’s contribution to the Doom’s Day event, Four Hours of Doom’s Day, begins with Target Selected, which is set at Stormcage, and features the guest character of the one and only River Song!

The really sad thing about this comic story is its length. A mere two pages long, we don’t get much out of this comic.

This is a massive shame, as I feel much could be done with the dynamic of River and Doom together, but it is wasted here.

There’s no way the events of this story take up a whole hour of Doom’s Day!

This series of comics was very mixed

📝4/10 = LACKING!

Dooming through time and space, one hour at a time!

FIRST IMPRESSIONS: “HOUR 2”

The Doom's Day event continues with the next four hours of Doom's quest, which plays out on the pages of Doctor Who Magazine and its comic strip.

Target Selected is literally one scene of Doom meeting River in the Stormcage while Death looms upon her, and River sends her to her next destination. A short story with fine art, but it hardly covers an hour.
