This has got me excited for her in the show, because I really liked her from this first experience. Really shows how resourceful she is. A. Maybe B. This was a lovely little short trip all about Jo Grant being attacked and chased by a bunch of random people. It turns out it is all part of UNIT's final test before Jo gets to start working with them and the Doctor. That's it for the story, but it is very endearing. I've read and heard plenty about Jo's uncle, but it is very cool to actually get to "meet" him in a scene. He's very charming and feels right for Jo. Her getting her UNIT badge feels like a great moment. Stephen Critchlow does the narration and he puts a lot of enthusiasm into it, but something about his delivery felt a little off for me. Maybe it just didn't quite fit the tone of the story. The music fit a lot better and did a good job at setting the mood, but it is also pretty scarce and I only ever really heard it a few times. All in all, it was pretty good. Not perfect, but definitely worth a listen! dema1020 View profile Like Liked 0 22 November 2024 · 11 words Review by Rock_Angel 1 I wonder if this jo grant will pop up again WINK Rock_Angel View profile Like Liked 1 Open in new window Statistics AVG.
