A little bit hard to follow, but it's still deeply compelling. These early entries in the audio Short Trips are so weird and experimental, but I like them. A. Maybe B. At the beginning I felt interested in the story but the more I continued to listen, the more it felt sort of... flat. Like there could have been more potential here. eldritchlamb View profile Like Liked 3 11 December 2024 · 113 words Review by dema1020 Spoilers 2 This review contains spoilers! This isn't a terrible production and India Fisher definitely adds something with her narration, but I didn't enjoy this story very much. I feel like it had some very cavalier and unexplored ideas around self-harm that felt intentionally provocative in a way I really didn't appreciate. The story is also just weird. A billionaire put his mind in a child? It could be interesting but I don't think this story adequately fleshes it out and it just takes the wrong tone and approach to such a thing. A story like this would have to be very, very serious and it doesn't feel that appropriate at the tail end of this Short Trips set. dema1020 View profile Like Liked 2
