this was just about one of the stupidest episodes ever at least it was kind of engaging but like. 1. ryans dad got the absent black father stereotype... and it ended up also being the only decent characterization hes gotten so far. which is really sad to see. the acting in this one was honestly subpar from everyone except ryans actor (kind of unusual to see but i cant blame them with how half the lines were the most stupid shit ever! id be trying to not laugh on set!) i dont even know how a dalek story managed to feel so unserious but i couldnt take it serious. the dialogue just felt like it was for a childrens movie. we beat the daleks with the power of friendship!!

A descent and unique Dalek episode, I thought this showed how dangerous and resourceful even one Dalek can be.

Wasn't to much of a fan of Ryan's Dad's storyline, felt like a worse version of Clyde's story in SJA.

I feel that Resolution has a really strong concept behind it and I love the design, effects and cinematography. However, the story is really let down for me by what feels like increadibly clunky dialogue. There are also a few pacing issues in my opinion. Overall, it is by no means terrible, but I would be extremely hesitant to call it good.

Pretty epic. Love the episode's  snazzy Dalek redesign, the extra weaponry and just how cunning the recon scout Dalek is. Its new abilities are amazing too; I was genuinely horrified when it took over Lynn - much better than the Moffat era Dalek puppets.

And then when you thought the Dalek had been defeated with the microwave (what would typically be the RTD era Dalek solution) but the Kaled mutant had actually taken over Aaron Sinclair's body - possibly one of the best fake resolutions in any Doctor Who episode ever.

This was probably one of my favorite dalek episodes, I adore the idea of a dalek taking over someone's body and the build up to the reveal was perfect. It was also really cool to see a dalek being resourceful and trying to survive, rebuilding it's casing with it's old parts and whatever it can find. This was just such an interesting idea to explore and overall this was a very fun one to watch.

It’s actually properly really good, but I have several really low hanging criticisms, which unfortunately is a theme for the Chibnall era. Mainly, I think the way UNIT was written out is frustrating, the wi-fi cutaway is extremely cringe and I get secondhand embarrassment watching it, and I also think this episode reinforces the black absent father stereotype.

Why is there a narrator?

Sugar rush Doctor Who; Dalek goes round killing folk, Doctor and fam melt it. I do love seeing new sides to Daleks, makes them more interesting and fresh.
