Like the first series, it contains some fun callbacks to previous Doctor Who stories (I particularly loved the references to Rose and The Fires Of Pompeii). I feel for Cleo with her transphobic experiences, as it can't be fun for her with her drama teacher not taking her seriously, and her date being put out by her trans status.
