This one's a great short story talking about the theme of regret and lost opportunity as the Doctor reminisces on a companion that could've and should've been only for him to die on Christmas and for a whole century has remained a spirit haunting the house filled with anger at what could've been. It's a very sombre tale that admittedly could've done without the retelling from another character format but still another highlight from one of the strongest Short Trips books

Perfect Present is a lovely story exploring the idea of a "Lost Companion" haunting a house during Christmas. It is a pretty great Seventh Doctor short with some real sincerity and thoughtfulness. Definitely one of the stand-outs among the stronger stories in the uneven first half that is Christmas Treasury.
