Scott Gray has written another story brimming with great ideas - the world building is grounded and fantastical simultaneously, and inhabited by believable characters.

The world Scott Gray summons here is compelling and despite how fantastic it is, grounded in the real world. Potentially because how much of everything is driven by money, something that doesn’t come up often in Doctor Who. The sale of some helpless fluffy creatures is the perfect trap for The Doctor.

The only part of the conclusion that falls flat for me is the ability for the Doctor to digitally regenerate himself from a single cell - it sort of just happens. It would have been nice to see a more elegantly written escape from this certain fate.
