Ah, so they're doing the 11th Doctor comics thing again where one story is apparently split into two?

This story is definitely the stronger part, the characterisation you get for 10 and Gabby is great here, especially with Gabby's character growth. and I'm excited to see how that continues going forward.

Here at least not having Cindy do anything kind of works, in that it's setting up conflict between her and Gabby going forward which I'm excited to see.

That all said the way they beat the monster (ignoring the sacrifice) is very much just kind of 'meh' to me. With a stronger antagonist this story could be great, but as it is, it's fine.
