Again, not a bad episode apart from the fact they keep forgetting to have a first act. This show really would serve well from just an extra 5 mins at the top of each episode. I liked The Professor in this again, and I think Drake and Darius' interactions were pretty fun. The more I watch the more I'm starting to like those three... and it kind of makes me wish for a series without Jorjie and Starkey.

There's a couple plot beats that just don't quite work for me, overall though, yeah, this was pretty fun.

A low 5/10

2️⃣🔼 = INSUFFERABLE!

Barking through time and space, one adventure at a time!

“THE MAN WITH A SMUG SMILE!”

We plunge right back to the lovely chemistry between Villain Mother and Smug Face.

I can’t believe they are trying to make a version of the classic “The hero is framed for trying to assassinate the baddie” plot. And then it turns to another classic plot, with the “an evil clone of the hero is behind it all” stuff.

This is another episode with character stuff that does nothing to make me like these characters more. Oh, and more villain talk from Smug Face.

To make matters worse, they make Annoying Kid go through a Turlough phase here, which doesn’t do him any favours.

The worst thing is that nothing happens in this episode. It just trudges along until it reaches the silly climax.

RANDOM OBSERVATIONS:

Forgettable Girl says Smug Face has a “smug smile." See, we are on the same wavelength here!

File this one under “meh”, albeit with a memorable premise. K9 is being framed with the use of a replica of himself. It doesn’t help that the henchman (who’s name I can never remember) is the key villain in this story and he is by far the worst actor in the show. Couldn’t tell you what the “Jaws of Orthrus” are after watching this.
