Earth, England, London Synopsis All over the world, people are "ghosting" each other on social media. Dropping their friends, giving vent to their hatred, and everywhere behaving with incredible cruelty. Even Donna has found that her friend Hettie, with her seemingly perfect life and fancy house, has unfriended her. And now, all over the world, internet trolls are dying... As more and more people give in to this wave of bitterness and aggression, it's clear this is no simple case of modern living. This is unkindness as a plague. From the streets of London to the web cafes of South Korea and the deepest darkest forests of Rio, can the Doctor and Donna find the cause of this unhappiness before it's too late? I don’t even know where to start. The Doctor and Donna book of all time. First of all, no one understands the Doctor and Donna like Jenny T. Colgan understands the Doctor and Donna. There is so much going on here. If I’d read this before the 60th specials I think it would’ve broken me. I don’t really know what to say about this book other than it’s hands down my favorite Doctor Who book of all time. There were moments I had to pause and re-read a line because it was that much of a banger. I was literally grinning like an idiot through a third of this book. Perfect mix of humor, drama, and action. Amazing interactions between the Doctor and Donna. If you love the two of them, this is the book for you. tardis-technician View profile Like Liked 1 23 December 2024 · 126 words Review by illyriashade56 Spoilers 1 This review contains spoilers! This story lives rent free in my head and once again proves Jenny Colgan really, really knows how to write these two. Ten is a bit of a dork, Donna is just a little bit of a loser, and there's some funny bits (like the entire sequence on the plane where Donna misses Ten being attacked because she's watching a movie) and some genuinely heartfelt moments (like Donna marching off into the jungle to try and find the Doctor after the plane crashes), as well as some completely and utterly horrific moments (like the fate of everyone at the monastary, or Donna succumbing to the infection), and it's all just so much fun. Also it was kind of fun to see Gully again after Time Reaver. illyriashade56 View profile Like Liked 1 Open in new window Statistics AVG. Rating23 members 3.98 / 5 GoodReads AVG.
