Synopsis

The TARDIS arrives in Hebe’s flat but it’s not how the Doctor and Mel remember it - and neither is Hebe! In Purity's new timeline, Hebe Harrison lives in a grand penthouse with armed guards and a live-in factotum - Ron! - and if she ever leaves her sanctuary the world will end.

Are these strangers the ones who have been sending her messages? And can this reality be undone without losing Hebe forever?

Previous Story: Time-Burst

I love me a good alternate reality story, this is no exception. We finally get to see Patricia/Purity's ideal world and it's really quite interesting. The way Hebe is included is really interesting and it's a great analogy for how disabled people are treated as fragile and as if they need to be kept in a bubble, in this case almost literally.

There's a lot of really good, really satisfying reveals here and it's incredibly fun to hear this story unfold. It really does feel like we're in the final act of this large over-arching story with the stakes high. It's good to have Hebe back after her absence from the last set and we have a great cliffhanger at the end. Solid stuff.
