I really like seeing the Doctor go around and reminisce of past times in his TARDIS, but I kind of wish it wasn't attached to the central conflict of him being stuck in a time loop.

This story is one of the absolute highlights from the set, despite being so humble in its aims. Unbeknownst to him, the Doctor is deliberately waylaid by the TARDIS, who on Christmas Eve wants to send him a message about family. He is then sent the sweetest message, which is not worth spoiling.

No plot summary could do this story justice, because to be perfectly honest very little happens in this story. It is the way in which Scott Hancock writes this story and its delivery which makes it a little slice of joy.
