I've been a tad apprehensive about this set due to the fact there was going to be some narration, however with time I've gotten used to and can now appreciate stories that aren't always fully audio dramas. That said, this story is pretty much a full on audio drama! Lovely to be reunited with Novice Hame after so long, and I really liked the introduction of Devon as the main character. They have quite a nice dynamic here, and I am excited to hear how it develops further. The story itself takes a while to pick up the pace, but the final act is really strong and moves quite fast. Some sad moments towards the end, and essentially this is the New Earth version of the Cybermen. Sort of, not 100% but the similarities are there and its clear as day.
