The Doctor seems a bit prejudice in this one, and slower than the audience on realising that this alien is clearly loving his Cornish country life. If there’d had more pages to work with they could have started with The Doctor chasing this villain at an earlier point in his arc, to justify the level of suspicion when they finally meet. Cute story though.

Short but sweet. It fits the Moffat era well, which used monsters being misunderstood or turning good quite often as a reoccurring theme.
