Mr. Men and Doctor Who?! Together? Yes that's right, Folks (I am not that Looney Tunes Pig!), we are discussing this one, despite only being 6 Minutes, I have A LOT to say:

Clever, creative, insightful but...

Despite it being fairly one of the shortest Thing, in terms of Runtime, Dr.Who meets Mr. Men is about a lot of Things. Hope, Faith, Creativity, Information and of course Dr. Who. But who is really Doctor Who? And I am not talking about Cushing!Doctor Who, I am talking about THE Doctor Who! Well, it's about an Alien Shapeshifter who travels in a Police Box. Now it being a Police Box is ironic, because Doctor Who, while saving people is sure rarely, if ever seen with the Police.

Maybe he is too afraid because he could maybe be spotted by one of the clever People from Police Academy. Anyway, yes, Doctor Who is a lot of Things. A Drama for the whole Family, a very edgy Horror Show at times and even edgier at times in its EU (short for Expanded Universe), Stories like "Project Twilight" makes you really think if the Show was a Mistake or not. Not to be a Hater or anything but I think this Story, despite having Fans, which it very well can, is way too edgy for my liking. I LOVE Vampires, they are the best, and here? Well, they aren't very good. On top of that, it feels weirdly mean spirited at times, which is a great Shame since a sixth Doctor TRUE Vampire Story could have been PEAK, as the youngster would say.

But back to Topic: William Hartnell played the first Doctor, we all know that by now, right? Despite him playing the Role, he is often seen as "the grumpy one" or "the old one", even if he very much set the Foundation for the Role. I love LOVE Patrick Throughton as Doctor Who, but I must admit I am a bit sad seeing him get all the Credit, while YES, he deserves some Respect for proving the Concept of Regeneration or changing the Character up much more than a normal Recast would, I think Bill Hartnell equally deserves so more Love. Maybe I am a bit of bias after all I am a first Doctor Fan, he is like my second favorite Doctor! So of course I will use any Opportunity to sing him more praise than he frankly gets at times.

I do think Animation is worth discussing, since this is in places very much like an animated Short. But where do we even begin? Hand-drawn Animation is superb, and I don't think anybody needs to hear that again, we all love the good old classic. And you know who else we love? Writer Carl Barks, who wrote plenty of famous Donald Duck Comics, now Donald Duck Comics could seem irrelevant for this Discussion but hear me out.. Doctor Who is on Disney+ and you know who else Disney owns? That's right, Donald Duck. So basically this confirms that Discussion were held even back then, which is quite surprising! Imagine Peter Capaldi on the Disney Channel! "You are now watching the Disney Channel" and he makes the Mouse Logo with his Sonic instead of that magic wand, how cool that would have been..

And before you say it: Yes I know, DT was on Disney XD in some Countries, I still don't know how, but it was the Case. Anyway uhh.. yes Mr. Men is quite the Character himself, very popular when it comes to Children Literature over there in the UK, if I understand correctly so making books for all Doctors is a lovely Idea and as somebody who read all of them I can confirm: This is easily one of the most consistent and cutest Book Ranges we got with Doctor Who! I especially like the one with 8 where he makes a Party with Sea Devils, which also indirectly predicted their Return! And you know who else was predicted in those? That's right Tardisguide!

When reading Dr. Men Books, my Heart goes all fuzzy. I looked at my Computer before I took a breath. "Impossible", I muttered as I am writing this silly review. There was me watching another Me writing this Review, watching another Me writing also this review. I couldn't believe it, I was trapped. In a cycle of writing unfunny not very insightful, overly long and unfunny Reviews. My heart was in pieces, broken by Devastation and the lack of Peter Capaldi Big Finish.

I quickly rushed out from my Chair, thinking about my Life Decision: "Was Doctor Who a Mistake? Did Mr. Men meets Dr. Who answer the Question?" And the Answer is Yes but actually no. "Oh no, I did it again", i said, as I noticed my Pop Culture Reference. I can't escape even in my Thought Process. "What should I do", asked myself, talking to myself again before sighing out loud. "Very well, I shall actually go and review this short Video, maybe even analyze it, even give some Insight into it. Like fun facts, Observations, all those Things you should usually do when writing something like a Review." My Monologue took so long, I just realized, I was talking to myself again, possibly that means.. who else is talking to themselves.. Yes that's right..

DOCTOR WHO

I am.. Doctor Who? Does that mean.. I am also DAVID TENNANT?!?!?! My shock was huge, so huge in fact, I forgot how to describe it. So pretty much very shocking in a way. Yes. I couldn't believe it. If talking to myself turns me into David Tennant, then who else I am? I am Paul McGann? Has Big Finish trapped me in their Basement? Is Nick Briggs in my Dreams telling me to record a new Box Set? Will there ever be a new eighth Doctor Arc? Is Doctor Who even a show at this Point? Surely it would be an Audio Series first and for most, after all Audios are the one Medium where we get the most of it, or is it Short Stories? Is Doctor Who a Book? Is Doctor who even a real Thing at this Point. I couldn't tell. I didn't know. And I certainly knew just one Thing: Why are you still reading this? Yes you, I mean you there who is reading this overly long unfunny Thing! Do something worth of your Time, like eat something very nice or read a good Book or listened to Big Finish. Do something nice for once!

But this brings me to an Important Question, how would I bring back Susan Foreman in the TV Show? Well since you asked... HERE:

Despite his new Face, she recognized him instantly. Her Grandfather. A rush of emotions came over her, she didn't see him ever since the war, Part of would kick him in the shin if he said something, but she wasn't young anymore, so doing that was no Option. Despite her hesitation at first, she rushes to him and pulls him into a grand hug. "You old fool", she said, her voice barely able to be made out, but there was some warmth to it. The Doctor chuckled, as he leans into her hug, a tear flying by his face. "Look what you made me do, Susan", he said, teasing her. A chuckle came over the both lonely Souls as they finally reunited all those years later. And for the first Time in years, they both were reunited yet again.

I can confirm that this is not how it would happen, and I do apologize deeply for my very nonsensical Thoughts at the Moment!

But seriously?

In the End, while not much to say about it: Doctor Who meets Mr. Men is a cute informative Video, which informs you of a new Range of Books and at the End of the Day, that's all what it wants to achieve. While not as thought-provoking as Dalek Chase Walter the Worm, it's still a lovely cute and entertaining Way to spend 6 Minutes of your Life or you know, you could just rewatch Night of the Doctor again.

3/5: Very solid.
