The Doctor took Yaz’s hand and gave it a squeeze. ‘It’s the least we can do.’

Yaz leaned in and embraced the Doctor.

She lingered there a moment, not wanting to let go.

It was the Doctor who pulled away, waving the gadget in her hands. ‘Need to get this to Judy.’

Yaz nodded, and as the Doctor hurried out of the TARDIS she found she couldn’t take her eyes off her.

DOCTOR: I owned a robot dog once or twice. Gave me quite the runaround.

JUDY: A robot dog?

GRAHAM: Was his bark worse than his bytes?

DOCTOR: I’ll introduce you one day. You’d like him, he thinks he’s a comedian too.
