Synopsis

Doctor Who fan writer and artist Sean, while trying to write a Who story for the BBC, has a visit from an old friend; the Fourth Doctor himself, who helps Sean to remember how he used to feel about Doctor Who, why he fell out of touch with the programme, and why it's so important to remember how he really feels about it.

This is my kind of story, so it makes sense to me that I prefer it to other people. It is a love letter to Doctor Who—a silly yet surprisingly heartfelt and well-observed piece of comedy. As someone who enjoys those one-page features in Doctor Who Magazine where a comedian or writer shares their personal perspective on the show, this comic feels like a natural extension of that idea, only in a more visual format.

Rather than telling a story in the fictional Doctor Who universe it tells a personal story about the real-world impact of the show on the writer. This isn’t the kind of feature you’d want every week, but as a one-off, it’s a poignant tribute to the series we all love.
