Mission Report by UNIT Agent Bill Filer to Trap One - Subject matter: "Day Zero". It wasn’t bad it was just ever so slightly… dull? A good 10 minutes could easily be cut for better effect. Actually I think this holds true for many of the stories in "God Among Us". Many of the stories feel like they have a bit too much filler material that breaks up the pacing of the narrative progression. Highlight was certainly Yvonne and this “God” in the café. That was a really good scene! Jacqueline King and Tracy Ann Oberman had a fantastic report in that sequence. But the actual nature of God or indeed the larger arc happening here is a bit obfuscated. I hope it all ties up in the last story, because I find this whole season to be even more messy than “Miracle Day” ended up being. And the whole “Is Jack mortal now?” was indeed much better done in said "Miracle Day". But generally the nature of Jack's immortality, and the fact that we know how his story ties up in the end, means that any story that delves into that aspect becomes somewhat predictable.
