This is part of a series of reviews of Doctor Who in chronological timeline order. Previous Story: Static Frustratingly mediocre. Ice Warriors are rarely done interestingly and this is no exception. They only really have two types of stories that are done with them and neither of them are particularly good. Sometimes they're generic but enjoyable, this is just flat-out generic. Not enjoyable in the slightest. The bird planet is an interesting idea but you forget that they're birds quite quickly and it turns into a generic run-around. The giant birds' cries at the start also sounded like minions so I found them hard to take seriously. Overall, slop is the only way to describe this and not even the regular cast could save it. A great meat and potatoes release for this wonderful all-star TARDIS team. Guardax View profile Like Liked 0 Open in new window Statistics AVG. Rating33 members 3.38 / 5 GoodReads AVG.
