interesting attempt to make sontarans seem more unique but it doesnt really work

An interesting idea, but sadly doesn't really go anywhere. It boils down to characters talking. There isn't really anything to grab onto and follow throughout the story. A real shame as there is something worth exploring in here. The cast is excellent, and they really sell what they are doing. It's a shame it's wasted on this.
