There's really not much information in the show about the Hath, and it seems like they're not able to add any lore to the monsters in these files, instead just going over existing information, which especially hurts in this case.

It's a bit strange that, despite being a species that ventured into the future with humanity, a file that's meant to be dedicated to recording information about the Hath, is laser focused on a single incident that only lasted a few months, spending time talking about the conflict, how peace was brokered, and talking about the tech used there, basically doing anything but actually talking about the hath themselves.
