like the old TARDISodes the monster files are only really a companion to the main episode. giving it half a star for the reappearance of my beloved fat furbies. this one in particular really adds nothing to reestablished lore of the adipose but worth a watch if you have some spare time.

Hearing Barrowman's overview of the Adipose and pseudo-recap of Partners in Crime is pretty fun, it very much feels like Jack's voice both in acting and script, which really makes it a lot more fun than it could be.

Because yeah, without that, this is a pretty boring 'story'. There's not really any information you're getting here that you wouldn't from just watching the episode.
