Absolutely insanely brilliant! Torchwood does Cosmic horror mixed with a bit of religious and artistic horror! The story unfolded beautifully and Andy is a great lead character for this episode. The twists and turns had me thoroughly hooked and this really is one of my favourite genres to cover, so getting to see a Torchwood version was amazing! My only complaint with this episode is that it is just a single episode, and the story ends on a relatively simple note rather than allowing an open ending, although the idea that the entity existed long before the story began does potentially leave it open. Otherwise, I thought it was just brilliant!

really solid andy story, i thought it was gonna go in one direction and then it went in the opposite direction. the mystery and intrigue surrounding the "monster" was super engaging, and i felt myself invested heavily from the offset. really enjoyed the world building and andy was great.

I found Cadoc Point to be a quite fun take on an art-themed Torchwood adventure with Andy. It's all very specific, sure, but works well as set out. Andy going back to his hometown and the long talks about art and life give this a certain slow feeling to it, but not one that doesn't work in service to the general tone of the story. I've never been a big Andy fan but this story is a good showcase of Tom Price's talents as he's really able to work well here all alone. Cadoc Point is a nice, well-rounded, easy to remember, and delightfully fun little procedural with a sci-fi/horror edge to it.  I really liked it and would totally recommend.  It makes me excited for Ghost Mission, which I still have to check out.
