Another little gem that I never would have seen without TARDIS Guide. A precious cameo from my favourite Doctor, full of childlike wonder and charm. Eccleston may have not enjoyed his time on Doctor Who, but you can see that he is giving Blue Peter his all, in what is his only televisual stint as The Doctor outside of series 1.

Well! It's fitting that this is my inaugural review for Tardis Guide, since, like other reviewers, I would never have known about this short without it. Even with only a couple of lines of dialogue, Eccleston *shines* through. I can't in good conscience give it more than 3 stars, but. For what it is, it's okay.

Also, this a nice historical artifact of the *very early days* post Wilderness Years. The children in this video likely got into Doctor Who from their parents, and you can see that the Dalek they build is very much modeled off of something from the '70s/'80s, as opposed to the Bronze Daleks which were yet to grace our screens.

3 stars / 5
