This is part of a series of reviews of Doctor Who in chronological timeline order. Previous Story: Elevation Disappointingly dull. Big Finish (and Doctor Who in general) need to banned from making "creatures made of pure energy/electricity" and things like that because I don't think it's ever been done well. This is another example of a forgettable villain "from a higher/different dimension" and already the SECOND one Constance has faced. Constance was absolutely the best bit of this story, we got to hear a bit of her Bletchley background in action and delved more into her desire to go home. Companion exits always feel a bit abrupt but this one manages to be decently built up beforehand, although it does still suffer from the Earthshock-style out of place focus on her and the Doctor's relationship at the beginning. Overall, pretty dull story but I quite like the way it handles our TARDIS team. Next Story: Quicksilver Like Liked 0
