Stories Comic The Incredible Hulk Presents A Switch in Time! 1 image Overview Characters Reviews 1 Statistics Quotes Overview Released Saturday, November 11, 1989 Written by John Freeman Artist(s) Geoff Senior Letterer(s) Helen Stone Publisher Marvel UK Synopsis A Switch in Time! was the Doctor Who back-up strip which appeared in the pages of The Incredible Hulk Presents #6. Like all in the series, it was monochromatic and featured the Seventh Doctor travelling alone at the beginning and ending of the story. Unusually, most of the events of the story take place in what is a scripted drama on television. Almost everything named in the story doesn't actually exist in the DWU, except as fiction. This one barely makes any sense - it’s completely all over the place. Other Incredible Hulk comics, despite their brevity, usually have a strong central concept, that is not present here. The fourth-wall-breaking element, with the television *about* to play Doctor Who, feels redundant, given the show had already explored the same idea earlier in the year. Perhaps the two concepts were developed independently! 15thDoctor View profile Like Liked 1 Open in new window Statistics AVG.
