I really like Jaqueline Rayner and I really like 60s Who, so you can imagine my excitement when it was announced we would get two free Short Trips involving both Parties.

This one does deliver for sure, I think it gets Steven, Vicki and 1st Doctor's relation perfectly. While Vicki gets here some nice Moments, it's for sure a more Steven-centric Story, which I don't mind since I love a good Steven Tale. The Concept itself works quite well for a 60s Team and allows this trip to have some quite atmospheric Moments to it. The Narration is, as you would expect from Purves, just superb. While listening to it, I got really reminded how much I missed hearing his 1, sure he isn't a spot-on Impression, but he gets the Vibes from Hartnell so right. The ending gives this entire Story a nice wrap-up to it.

As a big 60s Fan, I totally approve this Story and think it was such a pleasant Surprise to get this for free!
