Story Arc (Potential Spoilers!)

Time Lord Victorious

Synopsis

The Doctor needs you: A rogue Dalek, a spaceship on the verge of destruction and an impossible choice…

Step on board a doomed spaceship, where a rogue Dalek has tapped into the power system, in an attempt to recharge its weapons. Should the Doctor’s most feared enemy be successful, it will exterminate all in its path.

You, the Doctor’s friends, must prevent this catastrophe. Shutting down the ship’s power core will ensure the Dalek cannot activate its weapons. However, the ship’s life support systems rely on the same energy source, meaning that shutting down the power would result in the death of all 10,000 passengers.

You have just 60 minutes to find a way out of this impossible situation. You must defeat the Dalek to allow the spaceship to continue safely on its journey. Take too long and your destination will be extermination!

This is the only escape room I’ve ever done so I don’t have much to compare it to but I think it could have been a lot better.

It only consisted of one room and the doctor who theming was pretty limited. The challenges themselves had nothing to do with the show as far as I remember, but were general SiFi ideas.

One of the tasks was actually slightly broken, and from what I’ve heard from other reviewers it’s been left in this state for years.

The last task was also a complete mess that I still don’t even understand after they gave me the answers.

I only managed to complete the room because we were the last people in that day so they just gave us extra time, which was nice of them.

At the time of this review, I've played 2 escape rooms, this being one of them (the other one was another Escape Hunt game but wasn't related to Doctor Who), and this is definetly the worse of the 2. It's not terrible, but, from what I remember, the story was a little a weak and there was one very fustrating puzzle. The themeing within the room itself was also a lot worse than the other escape room I've played, mostly being comprised one large and noticeable feature in the corner of the (single) room (the other escape room I played had 4 rooms), which was admitedly quite cool but the rest of the room was quite generic.
