The trio - the Doctor, Jago and Litefoot arrive in America in the late 1500's. Roanake - the lost colony.

So a mostly historical story. The only reason I know about Roanake was because I watched American Horror Story and series six is based on the event. It was a settlement, but all the people vanished and no ones knows what happened to them.

To be honest I started to lose the plot early on, after the opening and titles, our team have suddenly been split up and we've skipped a bit. Not that thats a huge issue in itself, but this is one of those stories where, after a significant amount of time in, not a lot has really happened. And you're still not sure what the plot is.

There are interesting moments - Jago feelling ill and literally fading away. Someone seems to have possession of the Tardis, but nothing to hook me enough to care.

I wouldn't say it was bad but it's far from great.
