Ubermensch per Bernice Summerfield stories is more traditional with the setting being an archaeological dig that of course goes horribly wrong and the episode having parallels to a famous episode of Classic Who, this case being Tomb of the Cybermen. But's it's done so in a deliberate way as we get a fantastic scene between the Doctor and Benny who comforts the latter following a panic attack and her growing unease following all the recent events of this adventure so far. Being a penultimate episode, it's main function is setting up the finale and it does so excellently with a great cliffhanger ending revealing the Cybermen aren't quite finished.
