I think Capaldi will never have a role that he totally owns quite as much as The Doctor. Which is quite a feat considering how many actors have played the part before and after his tenure. I only wish Moffat would get out of the way so we could really fully appreciate him some more.

I dislike how they handled Bill's death in the finale and her scenes here do make up for never getting a real goodbye scene with The Doctor. The Leftbridge-Stewart reveal worked on me more than I thought it would, especially his first salute to The Doctor!!!!
