Kept finding myself thinking "I know more about quantum theory than you do", which is a terrible thing to think to yourself

The character work here wasn't the best and the ending got bogged down in sci-fi that tried too hard to be science but kept being not quite right about it. Still: most of the book was pretty good, and by god can Justin Richards do a cliffhanger
