I wasn't really expecting much based on this era's reputation, but I was pleasantly surprised at this episode. It was fun, had some interesting looking aliens, and I like the companions so far. Jodie smashed it out of the park as the Doctor as well, I really enjoyed her take on the character.

The writing is decent, though I'm curious going forward if I'll like it or not.
