I’m not reviewing absolutely every story (yet), just the ones where I have something pressing to say. I love Pting. Pting is a legitimately great idea, not actually an antagonist, just a hungry little toxic gremlin. I have the Pting Funko Pop in a place of honor. I’ve said since this episode aired that a great use of Pting would be as a weapon by another villain, say Missy threw Pting into a situation to cause chaos and distraction while getting on with her real evil scheme. I just think there’s fun potential. And I also like this episode more generally, this is one of my favorite Jodie performances, her sciencey explanation mode in full effect. There’s some silly stuff, of course there is, it’s not perfect, but I really like it.
