Once again, we are treated to the result of RTD seeding the main plot point for the finale through the season: this time the frequently mentioned Saxon is revealed to be the Master. The Doctor, Martha, and Jack are on the run, which is a fun dynamic to watch. Obviously, Simm’s Master is the focus here and I’m pleased to say that I kinda enjoy his off the wall antics. Lots of setup here but stuff that’s very compelling to watch.
