Very tongue in cheek, this, with a good sense for funny and vivid descriptions. On the downside it's fairly unbelievable that the Doctor could ever not have understood that by accusing someone of witchcraft he was sentencing him to death, so using that as a ruse was a bit so-so, as was the ease of the resolution. Very cozy story, entertaining half hour.
