Previous Story: The Creature from the Pit
I can't speak on whether this is a good adaptation of the novel or not, as I haven't read it, however, I can say that the story presented to me is just a bit standard. It's a somewhat intriguing mystery at the start that just falls apart towards the end. The villain is dull and there's a lot of characters making the story quite hard to follow and the bits you do pick up just aren't the most interesting. I think the Ogrons were about the best bit if I'm being honest.
I will say that this story feels like something I'd enjoy better in prose, if I do ever end up reading it, this section of the review will be changed but until then I can't say that this was very good.
