I had a pretty great time with The Prisoner of Peladon, perhaps because I quite enjoyed Curse of Peladon.

David Troughton was awesome as King Peladon again but also did a really convincing Alpha Centauri. It's a very solid performed audio on the whole. The plot is a little too straightforward for my tastes but it was still a very enjoyable listen and a fun homage to the Peladon episodes. Makes me very curious to check out the Peladon set out there.

Nicola Bryant also really stood out as director of Prisoner of Peladon. Her enthusiasm in the behind the scenes content was very infectious. It was neat hearing about how thoroughly she researched stuff for the production and it is a shame, that, as best I can tell, she doesn't direct for Big finish past a few episodes because she moved a bit farther away from their offices long before the company got more remote. It's a disappointment to learn that because her direction was really outstanding and I just love how committed she is to the process but also the franchise.
