There’s a couple of major reveals in this story that are delivered in a disappointingly pedestrian way, doled out with little flare. The baddie which they decided to bring back for this story is revealed and dispensed with within the same page. Another character is over-explained at the end, taking away from the rewarding “aha!” moment they initially provide. The rest of the story is sweet and gentle, but it lacks an oomph.
