The Ninth Doctor #4

'The Oncoming Storm' (2016) from The Churchill Years: Volume One.

A perfectly serviceable Doctor Who story here, although without much of The Doctor at all in it. A nice mystery, definitely doesn't feel like anything new but it does what it does well and effectively. The only real downside to this is the strange lack of an Eccleston-impersonation performance for Nine, instead opting for an uncommitted impression by Churchill himself. This is made all the more jarring by the fact that The Doctor is the only character which is represented this way, with all of the other characters having their own voice actors.
