The Name of the Doctor

This story was really good. It's the start of the end of the 11th doctor and this is also the start of the 50th anniversary specials. I really liked having the Great intelligence back after he was teased a bit in this section of series 7. Having the doctor go to trenzalore was sad because he knows his time is up and he has to go to save his friends. It's so sad to see the realisation on the doctors face. The way they wrapped up the Impossible Girl storyline was nice. Seeing the doctors time stream was so cool because sure it's not the first thing you ever think of but when you do see it it's really cool. This story also introduces the war doctor. This incarnation is the one who fought in the time war and killed and after all this time it's very exciting to see him it's been like 7 series at this point and we are finally getting to the time war and wrapping it up. Overall a really good story to kick off the 50th and begin the countdown for the eleventh doctor. 10/10
