It actually seems that season 7b Clara did in fact die after jumping into the Doctor's timestream because the person that emerges next episode is NOT the same character, I will die on this hill. I do not know what happened but I'm so glad it did. It's like character assassination but good? If only there were a term for such a thing... I shall call it - Characterisation! I apologise if I sound like I've just stared into the untempered schism but my god it bothers me how different she is from Bells of Saint John until Day of the Doctor. Why couldn't she have been that great from the start??!
