MY SCATTERED AND TOTALLY IRRELEVANT NOTES:
For a deeper analysis of the story and performances, please check out my review for the televised version.
The BBC soundtrack release for The Myth Makers is capably narrated by Peter Purves, but since this story is very talky and slow-moving, with some major visual story beats, the soundtrack version of the story doesn’t do it a lot of justice. It truly needs the little visual material there is to make it a bit more interesting. I find my mind easily beginning to wander when I have to listen to various characters bickering and discussing trivial matters without anything to anchor the voice to. The lack of visuals means it's even harder to keep track of the various supporting characters as well, and the action scenes lack excitement.
